Full time Nanny Housekeeper

Whaddon, Gloucester

5 days weekly (one weekend day preferable but not essential)

Start date: ASAP- early July at the latest

Our clients are a busy family of 5, looking for a calm, confident, organised and active long-term nanny/housekeeper to take over from their much-loved nanny of two years, who is leaving to have a baby in the summer.

  • The role will involve all cleaning, tidying and admin related to the three busy children aged 9, 10 and 13: school and club drop-offs/pick-ups, planning activities, laundry and general household upkeep- dishwasher sorting, hoovering, etc.

The family home is on a busy farm, with a shop and a coffee shop on site. While both parents and grandparents are often around, this is a sole charge role. The children are active and very used to being around the many animals on the farm, the family also have a swimming pool that they enjoy using and they are keen for the children to be taken out to do activities in school holidays and at weekends (if the nanny is happy to work one weekend day!)

The youngest child wears bilateral hearing aids, and two of the three children were born prematurely. Alongside ADHD, these are things the nanny will need to have an understanding of and provide adequate support and structure for the children.

Our clients would also be keen to have their new nanny involved in running the coffee shop during school hours in term time if this suited the nanny’s skillset and interests.

The children attend 3 different school settings and lots of clubs, so morning drop-offs (if you choose to begin work earlier) and afternoon pick-up will be three stops around Stroud.
