Start date: October 2025 (can wait until January for the right candidate)

A lovely family of three, expecting their second baby in the summer, are looking for a fun, confident nanny to join their family long term and care for their son (2) and new baby. Mum will be on maternity leave initially and will appreciate help with the baby, she would like to make a gradual return to work once the new nanny is settled.

  • Both parents work between London and a home office. The role will be sole charge in the coming months so it’s important that the nanny has baby and toddler experience.

There will be a fair amount of 1-1 time with the new baby as their son attends nursery 3 days a week.

Their toddler is curious, playful and very active, and the family would love him to be engaged by someone energetic and creative, taking him to activities and exploring outdoors.

The family avoid the use of screens and has a keen interest in nutrition and avoids processed foods.

The family are keen to meet a nanny who is a team player, happy to help out with keeping the home organised and presentable with their attention to detail (making children’s beds, putting washing on, etc).

The family have a female Labrador who will be around the house.

The family also have a swimming pool, so nanny confident in swimming with children would be amazing.

  • -Experienced with babies AND toddlers

-Help with housekeeping jobs (laundry, tidying, washing up)

-Confidence in supporting parents through early years development

    -Confident in sole charge working

-Confident in cooking with whole foods and making healthy meals

-Someone who is able to entertain children without relying on screen time

-Candidates looking for a long-term commitment, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • An October start would be preferable but the family can wait until January 2026 for the right candidate as they currently have low level help in place.

£20-£25 per hour, depending on experience.

30-40 hours weekly across 3 or 4 days, with opportunities for overtime.

Mothers’ Help/Nanny

Near Barclay and Thornbury

25-30 hours weekly, Tuesday to Friday or Saturday, but happy to be flexible. This could also be a live in position if preferred. £14 per hour.

Start date: January 2026 or earlier if possible

Our clients, expecting their second child in February, are looking for a proactive, countryside nanny with great baby and toddler experience to care for their 17-month-old son. The role will involve entertaining the toddler with age-appropriate activities, supporting his routine and assisting mum in keeping their rural farmhouse tidy. The family already have a cleaner but would appreciate a nanny who is keen to keep toys organised and use their own initiative to help with the dishwasher, etc, when needed. Driving is essential for this role, a nanny car can be provided. The family have two very friendly dogs, a (mostly outdoor) cat and cows on the land surrounding their home, so an animal lover is also important.

Candidates with a willingness to travel would be most desirable as the family intend to travel and stay in New York for a few months prior to the birth of their new baby, and would love their nanny to join them for this trip.

  • Both parents run their own businesses around the home and go out sporadically, so this will rarely be a sole charge role.

To begin with, the nanny’s focus will be on the 17-month-old child while mum spends some quality time with the newborn and settles her into a routine.

Their son is an active, curious and confident toddler and so a candidate with toddler experience is really important to the family.

The family are keen to meet a nanny who is a team player, happy to help out with keeping the home organised and presentable.

The family have a springer spaniel and a little Mexican rescue dog. Both are very friendly and like affection so a nanny who likes dogs would be appreciated. There are lots of cows on the land surrounding the home, and you will also see their mostly outdoor cat coming and going.

  • -Experienced and confident working with toddlers

-A nanny with countryside experience, especially important for live-in candidates

    -Willingness to travel

-Help with household organisation: playroom tidying, unloading the dishwasher, laundry

-Candidates with excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • A January start (or earlier if possible!) would be preferable

£14 per hour, depending on experience.

Overtime available from time to time, especially while travelling
