All our nannies have been interviewed in person.
We verify that all of our nannies have the following valid documentation:
-The right to work in the UK
-A current DBS check (previously known as a CRB check)
-Certification of qualifications
-First aid certification
-A driving license
-Adequate nannying insurance
-Any other documentation specific to your vacancy
We also review at least 2 references before registering a new nanny.

Once you’ve found a candidate you’d like to offer the role to, you’ll need to consider employment routes.
You register as the nanny’s employer
The Nanny makes arrangements to work as a sole trader
Your nanny’s employment is managed by The Nanny Club’s Nanny Payroll system.
Depending on which route works best for your family and the nanny, a contract will need to be drafted. We can support this process should you need and will always ensure any contract meets UK employment regulations.
You can let us know you’re ready to offer the nanny the position and await a response, and then we will manage the pre-onboarding phase. Agency fees are due after a verbal offer and acceptance of a role.

The current UK Income Tax Personal Allowance is £12,570. The main National Insurance thresholds are aligned with the Income Tax personal allowance. As the nanny’s employer, you would be responsible for producing payslips and managing payroll tax deductions. You must also ensure compliance with minimum wage, safety regulations, provide a written contract, and set up a workplace pension scheme. The Nanny Club can provide all the relevant information to guide you through this process.
If you choose that The Nanny Club will manage the employment of your nanny, we do all the tricky bits and admin for you. We will provide you with monthly calculations explaining exactly what you need to pay for your nanny’s time.

Our nanny employment service is available for all of our clients, regardless of the style of contract. For a competitive monthly subscription, we act as the employer of your nanny and manage the payment of tax, NI and pensions for you.
We support the nanny’s settling-in period and act as a mediator should any contract changes arise as your family grows.
We do continual market research to ensure Nanny Payroll is always more cost-effective than outsourced nanny employment assistance.

We can assist in supplying bespoke contracts and registering your nanny for Nanny Payroll, regardless of whether they were intially introduced by us or not.
